Book Review: Little One by Jo Weaver

Little One by Jo Weaver is the first book to be published by this talented new illustrator/story teller.

This beautifully illustrated, hard-back book by Jo Weaver is her first foray into the world of children’s storytelling and doesn’t she do it well. Written and illustrated by Jo, Little One tells the story of a mother bear and her cub and their simple journey of discovery through the seasons, nature and life.

Like all clever children’s books, the story is simple yet profound with stunning illustrations, sensitively rendered in charcoal with superb draughtsmanship, offering a tender portrayal of the mother/cub relationship and the beauty of nature untarnished.
